I'm not going to write a lengthy blog this time on the World Champs. I was extremely disappointed with my time which I think was due to a very bad patch on the 4th lap, but hey ho there is always next time!


That said, we did well as a team coming in 6th place for the World Championships, and here is a few pics of the team at the event...

John O' Regan Blasts Through 24Hr

Irish International Ultra Runner and team mate John O' Regan has recently set a new Irish 24 hour track record of 132 miles gaining him Irish Champion.


Deirdre Finn was the first lady clocking 112 miles.

Keith Whyte Wins Donadea 50k

Ultra Running Ireland team mate Keith Whyte won the inaugural Donadea trail 50k this weekend. Keith completed the course in 3:26:27. Keith will be making his Debut for Ireland in the Anglo Celtic Plate, which will also be my debut for Ireland. More here.

John O' Regan also entered the Donadea 50k as a training run coming in at 3.41.30 earning him joint third place (not bad for a training run!). You can read John's blog about the event here.
